Lauren's Spring Break -- Part 1

Lauren arrived at the Palm Springs airport on Friday, March 6 and returned to Marquette flying from Palm Springs to O'Hare and then taking a bus to Milwaukee on Monday, March 16.

Ten whole days in California!!! It flew by SO FAST.

Here are some of the things we did while she was here . . .

1) Took lots of pictures

2) Animal viewing at The Living Desert -- the first time for Lauren since she ALWAYS slept until noon when she was a high school student visiting the desert and Bob and I always went early to avoid the heat of the day

3) Mountain climbing at the Living Desert. We took these pictures of ourselves, during the hike up the mountain, by holding the camera out in front of us and just snapping -- a Lauren specialty (Bob was golfing with Dennis -- surprise!)

4) Made guacamole w/pomegranate seeds -- yum!

5) Performed yoga on the mountain top

6) Made refreshing citrus and tonic drinks on ice every day at 3:30

7) Admired lovely desert flora
