19) Went to the McCallum Theater to see Ain't Misbehavin' on Sunday , March 8 -- The production was FULL of energy!!! and starred The Velvet Teddy Bear

"The 30th Anniversary National Tour of the Tony Award-winning musical Ain't Misbehavin' comes to the McCallum Theatre in Palm Desert for five performances, Friday, March 6 through Sunday, March 8. Ain't Misbehavin' is a rollicking, finger-snapping revue of the music and soul of 1930s Harlem.

This production of Ain't Misbehain' stars Ruben Studdard who shot to fame in 2003 after winning "American Idol." The Grammy-nominated star will be joined on stage by two other "American Idol" alums, 2003 contestant and star of Broadway's Rent, Frenchie Davis, along with 2003 top five finalist Trenyce Cobbins. Together with a first-class cast and a live, on-stage band, they will bring classic popular hits like "Honeysuckle Rose," "This Joint is Jumpin'," "Your Feet's Too Big," and the title song, "Ain't Misbehavin'" to life.

20) Attended the Grand Opening of Fruyu -- a frozen yogurt store in south Indio. Yum-o!!!

You serve yourself. There are many soft-serve flavors -- mango, blueberry, strawberry, raspberry, tart boysenberry, vanilla, chocolate, etc. Then you add toppings -- fresh fruit, candies, nuts, cereal, etc. Then they weigh it -- 38 cents per ounce. Mine usually costs between $3-4. It is EASY to get carried away . . .
