Since the weather turned consistently WONDERFUL!!!, sitting inside on the computer to blog really seems like HOMEWORK! But Lauren has prodded me to continue posting so here goes.
Bob and I have golfed several times -- last week I shot 109 and 110. I'm starting to believe I may actually break 100 sometime! Could be quite a while in the midwest, though, since the rough is much worse there. We golfed at Trilogy again as well as 2 of the 6 courses in the complex in which we are renting our house. We golfed at PGA West's Tom Weiskopf Private Course and the Greg Normal Course. We also have some friends/neighbors visiting here in La Quinta for the next 2 weeks, so Bob is golfing EVERY DAY with Dennis. Yesterday they golfed at the Classis Course -- and they both played very well. Bob played this course with Mark Nelson last March. Today it was Silver Rock. Tomorrow it is back to Trilogy and I will be joining them.
We got to play the Weiskopf private course for free because Bob went to talk to someone about membership information and she offered a free round at any of the 6 courses and 1 week free at the health club and tennis facility. Fun! Nothing better than driving around in a golf cart looking at sunny blue skies and peaking in beautifully landscaped back yards! Some pictures from the golf course:
And they are called grapefruit because they grow in clusters like grapes -- you were correct, Ben!!!
